Talking about off the beaten places...well...HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT NITEROI????

Maybe if you know me or we had exchanged messages, you know that Niteroi is a great surprise to any trip to Rio!!! Right in the other side of the bay you will have a place with full of unique things to see and among all the attractions, maybe the high light of my tours...A PARAGLYDING SCHOOL and a famous hill of the city:

Just one thing for you to know...it beats the Sugar Loaf and you do not pay anything to go there!

AMAZON TRIP???? WHY NOT???? CURURUPU

Good Morning, Reader Friend...I am so close to you that if you read my blog you are already a good friend of mine...But we are Brazilians and we love to be closer to people...yes...a trip to the Amazon...When we think about Brazil, we also think about AMAZON...a trip to the jungle and Brazil has endless forests and one huge tropical rain forest thar cover most of our nothern territory.

Manaus is the gateway to the Amazon, this is what most of people think...But I love looking for places where a regular tourist never go, so I provide a unique experience to my guests...a virgin place...an amazon place where hardly anyone from abroad never been to. 



 

So I will write more about Cururupu and I am sure we will go there together, with all the people that I know and all the resources that we will see there, it will be the unique trip...Where the ocean meets many rivers that form our majestic Amazon River, the entrances of Maranhão....

CURURUPU is the new destination in our tours!!!

ANOTHER ESCAPE AND A GREAT DISCOVERY FOR YOU

My Super Dear Reader...How can I start??? How can I write about another paradise in our jungle???? Okay...another incredible place to be with the nature...the closest contacts with yourself...A Place where you finally find some peace of mind...and of course part of my endless "OFFICE" in Brazil....

Two hours away from Rio...very light trip, in the way to São Paulo...This is a city and this city is privileged to hold a FEDERAL NATIONAL PARK...The village and the park share the same name ITATIAIA....

Brazil has too many different paradises...you just come and I help you to choose!!!

One of my suggestions is close home and again it is one of the places that I take my days off...In the mountains of course!!! :) 

You do not need too much effort to find a wild spot like Ponte do Maromba....Not even in Dubai you will find a dream of swimming pool like that!!! Birds everywhere...fresh air, nice people all around, challenging paths...A chance that you have to witness Brazil from the time of our Settlers...The same animals are still there, the same landscapes are there..the same forest, the same everything!!!

ITATIAIA...THAT IS THE NAME OF ONE MORE SECRET THAT YOU WILL SEE WITH ME!!! Itatiaia is part of the places of our ranges that have some of the highiest peaks of Brazil such as Pico das Agulhas Negras...it is also one of the coldest places in Brazil, the heights here are over 2000 meters high...Super cool to visit close to the winter because the weather is dry and it hardly rains and absolutely fantastic to go in the summer because you can enjoy the water falls...it is hard to think which natural pools is better.

As usual Marcone and I travel to tell you some cool suggestions for you to simply enjoy life. We are tour guides and we are here to make Rio easier for you. Rio has the State of Rio de Janeiro with so many different option. Here you also find amazing restaurants, one that I recommend is the HOTEL DO IPE...and if you want to spend the night here which I extremely suggest you, you can stay with the folks from POUSADA QUATRO ESTACOES. Fabio, is the owner and he will personally give you the best hints.

I am happy to belong to a country that gives you everything. I trully believe that this is the country of the future and Rafa is here to be your PERSONAL EMBASSADOR...I want to make Brazil one of the powers of the World Turism but I do not want to be an industry. 

When you come to Rio, do not forget to have some two extra days to explore hidden paradises and you will be in touch with a wonderful people, you will see unique places and Brazil will always be part of your life.

SURPRISES OF BUZIOS - A BEACH CALLED TUCUNS

Buzios is one of my favorite spots when I decide to have a day off and of course it is part of my tours. When you come to Rio and when you have some more days....Wow Buzios is such a wonderful place to enjoy Nature, we still find some secluded beaches and we can find a way to relax and have fun.

And I was surprised this time...Buzios is a Peninsula, beautiful beach place and it has a lot of beaches and I thought I knew the whole place....GOSH...I WAS MISTAKEN...

Tucuns is the name of the secret...wilderness, islands and very clear blue sea...it is a invitation for paradise and for sure one of the most interesting beaches of Buzios!

Marcone Lima was joins me in my holidays, we love to research new places together, we do enjoy planning trips to our guests and surely we love the DOLCE VITA...In a nice GUEST HOUSE in front of this wild beach. Tucuns offer great place to stay where you ccan spend your days with style and comfort and this is something we do like!!!

Marcone is a cool friend, full of new ideas and a unique way of guiding. In my travels he is always present!!!

Well, of course you need a place to stay...and I always find something out of the tourism industry...Buzios still holds some family houses and little farms, some of them are part of a preserved area...few properties left in such a very green corner in front of a gorgeous beach.

I love staying at DECK DOS TUCUNS...Lovely spacious area with very nice rooms...air conditioning, super new and wonderful toilets. The green area is amazing...the property seems to be a little Botanical Gardens and the wooden deck is simply outstunning.

Rosangela is the manager and Alexandre the owner, they will make sure you will have a wonderful stay and I fully recommend.
