GOING NORTH - BRAZILIAN PAINTINGS

We are very proud about our endless nature and exotic animals. Brazil has indeed a large variety of fauna and flora. No wonder our local artists find very easy a lot of inspiration, and in my trips around Brazil I have seen incredible works that we find literally in some corners in these small villages upnorth!

These lovely paintings are found from Maranhão to Amazonas, from Rio de Janeiro to Mato Grosso do Sul State, you just need to haver good eye to find a genuine work of art, I did not have the money to buy it, but I could catch some of this work with my camera.

Leophards are found nearly all over Brazil, some states they are plenty some other places they are desappearing because farmers seem not to like them. And in Brazil we have all kind of parrots and macaws, and they are gorgeous!

In various street markets we can find wonderful works and we should buy them, It is a way we find to help simple people to have their skills recognized for those who really understand about art and I am pretty sure that many of those paintings would deserve a place in any big city art exhibitions, don't you agree???

Coming to Brazil is also a fant astic opportunity to have beautiful paintings in your house. I have welcomed so many art collectors that really found a real "paintings playground" in their trips to Rio and other part of Brazil like Maranhão, Amazonas, Paraná State and also the countryside of Rio de Janeiro's State.
