A GERMAN WEEKEND IN RIO - DEUTSCH SANTA TERESA

Albrecht, the 1st (founder of Berlin in 1100 - note the Bear in the Berlin's flag) would be proud to find his symbol in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Rio, Santa Teresa. We have a lovely space for events, a house in ruins with a lovely green space, and this week we had the GERMAN weekend promoted by Goethe Institute and the Swiss School of Rio, a day with german folk music, lots of German Sausages (of course), the delicious curry wurst was there...ummmm simply delicious.

Santa Teresa is our hilly bohemian district totally dedicated to art and culture, so it was not odd to find such a great party over there.

Happiness and fun are guaranteed in every day spent in Santa Teresa, an artsy sanctuary where all the folks express the love for art.

No doubt one of my favorite places in Rio where I take all my guests and family. If you want to see colors, art manifestations in almost all cobbled stones streets of Santa Teresa, just join me on the tours and I will take you there!

The community is so updated with the last happening and always fight for justice, the murderer of our dear Feminist Politician Marielle Franco is one of the reasons that we are always in the streets claiming to find the people who ordered her death and we will not rest until finding the solution. Marielle is still alive in our hearts.

If you want to meet the soul of Rio...Santa Teresa is the place, a remarkable district where art and culture is always present and make Rio very proud about its legacy.
