It is sad but it is true...in long holidays we should avoid going to the Christ or Sugar Loaf, the waiting will kill your day and our day. I tried to go to the Christ twice during Easter Holidays and we couldn't...Long line of cars in the road to Christ and insane lines to take the train.

You also have to consider coming to Rio together with various cruiseline ships...the famous places will be a chaos, maybe it is better to go one day before or one day after the ships' arrival...
