I have no doubt that when you think about coming to Rio, you will think about tropical beaches, pleasant sun, and fresh ocean water, yes you will find...but not in Copacabana, not in Ipanema. Cool beaches, but not completely "raw" nature as I love saying.
To find these unique spots, you will need some small trips to the countryside, you need at least one day trip but the result will be PARADISE. And this is what you will see when you arrive at Ilha Grande.
Wild nature, endless ocean, and sandy beaches, laid-back inlets and green mountains. For many years in our history, Ilha Grande has been a good shelter for those who look for good life.
Enjoy yourself in the salt water and take the salt off in a sparkling water river. It is just being in nature and take yourself to the past when the Portuguese navigators did the same thing 500 years ago.
Fascinating place where you forget your busy life, nature will make you soooo relaxed that you will be willing to spend the rest of your life there!
A place where you can spend one day for total fun, you can even overnight there, all kind of accommodation that can fit all pocket, and we can do a lot there. To arrive at this paradise you need at least 2 hours and another two hours to go back to Rio, but you know...all sacrifice leads to incredible results and ILHA GRANDE is a good reason.
